About the Access Programme
We understand that the cost of a private ADHD assessment can be a significant barrier for some people.
The Cognition Care Access Programme has been created to improve access to Adult ADHD Assessment by offering a limited number of reduced-fee assessment places each month for eligible adults in England.
Every assessment is carried out by our Consultant Psychiatrist and follows the same clinical pathway, governance standards and quality of care as our standard Adult ADHD Assessment service.
What's Included
Applicants accepted onto the Access Programme will receive:
Comprehensive Adult ADHD Assessment conducted by a Consultant Psychiatrist
Comprehensive clinical assessment and history taking
Comprehensive diagnostic report and clinical recommendations
The same clinical pathway and governance standards as all other Adult ADHD Assessment patients
What's Not Included
The Access Programme provides a reduced-fee Adult ADHD Assessment only.
It does not include:
Medication initiation appointments
Medication titration
ADHD prescriptions
Medication costs
ADHD coaching
Follow-up appointments
Ongoing treatment packages
If ongoing treatment is appropriate following assessment, these services remain available separately at our standard published fees.
How Does It Work?
Complete the online application form.
Your application will be reviewed.
Applications may be approved, placed on a waiting list or declined.
Successful applicants will be contacted to arrange booking and payment.
We aim to review applications within 10 working days wherever possible

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance onto the programme.
Places are limited and subject to availability.
All applications are reviewed individually.
Participation in the Access Programme does not influence clinical decision-making, diagnosis or treatment recommendations.
The Access Programme is intended to improve access to Adult ADHD Assessment and is not designed to provide urgent or emergency mental health support.
Applications are reviewed individually against the Access Programme eligibility criteria and available programme capacity.
